- Is there a minimum bid?
Yes, the minimum bid is 1 months rent for the unit at auction. This is usually $79 or $125.
- Do you require a deposit to bid?
Only winning bidders are required to provide a deposit in addition to the monies due for the winning bid.
- What is the deposit required?
The deposit is $100 for a 10X10 unit and $200 for a 10X20 unit.
- What form of payment do you take at auction?
All auction payments and deposits must be paid in cash. You will be given a receipt. Failure to pay winning bid and/or deposit cancels your bid.
Brandywine Self Storage maintains a standing bid (up to the total amount of the delinquency) of $10.00 UNDER the highest public bidder. The delinquency amount is not public information.
- How do I get my deposit back?
Completely empty the unit and remove all contents from the property within 3 days.
After verification, you will be immediately issued a check for your deposit.
- Who can bid at auction?
You must be 18 years of a age or older. You cannot be a family member of the original owner of the units contents.

- How do I stop my possessions from being auctioned?
Pay your entire account balance with cash or money order prior to the opening of bidding.
